My name is Jamus. I am currently the managing director of The Jamus Channel. I have been involved in web design and website administration over the past eight years, during which I currently hold / held the position as the webmaster for various organisations and clubs.
Work Experience (2009 - 2011)
Sunshine Pharmacy Webmaster
I have been appointed as the webmaster of Sunshine Pharmacy, an online pharmacy which is based in Gisborne, New Zealand. This position involves updating the database every fortnight, optimising the website's layout, and promoting its SEO position on Google and other major search engines.
New Zealand Controlled Release Society (NZCRS) Webmaster
I am currently the webmaster of the NZCRS website, whereby I ensure the web pages are up-to-date with the latest content. This includes upcoming NZCRS workshops, notices, minutes from meetings and the image gallery.
Auckland Pharmacy Student Association (APSA) Webmaster
I established the new APSA website in 2009 and was subsequently appointed as the webmaster of the association's website. The major roles that I undertook include website administration, liaising with the publication managers on maintaining the currency of the content, and general troubleshotting of any technical issues that the association faces. Currently, I am the advisor to the new webmaster.
Grafton Hall Computer Technician
Commencing from 2009, I was employed as a computer technician at Grafton Halls of Residence for two years. I was primarily involved in troubleshooting residents' computers and advising safe computer practices.

University of Auckland Linux User Group (UALUG) Webmaster
During the two-year tenure, I was the web designer and the webmaster for the UALUG website. My responsibility was to update the web pages from time-to-time basis.
Work Experience (2006 - 2007)
The Australia and New Zealand Buddhist Youth Conference (ANZBYC) Webmaster
As the webmaster of the ANZBYC website, I was involved in designing the web pages and administering the website for the 2007 conference held in Auckland, New Zealand.
Website has now been decommissioned
Ingham House (Howick College) Webmaster
I was the webmaster for my school house, whereby I played a role in re-designing all of the web pages and updating the website on a regular basis.

Cyber Buddies of Seafield (CBS) Webmaster
CBS was a team consisted of approximately 15 Seafield students, in which we were given a task to teach a group of orphans on the basic use of computers. I was heavily involved in the committee as the computer education programme director and the webmaster of the CBS website.

GRID computing participant
I am an active participant in the World Community Grid, which is a large network that coordinates the use of computers worldwide to carry out research projects. My contribution of idle CPU time has been going on since year 2005. To date, my computers have assisted in the following projects:

Firefox Add-on programming
I am the programmer of the JournalUoA Firefox extension, a program that can be used by any of the University of Auckland staff or students to access the journals from the subscribed databases anywhere in the world.
Article publishing
I have published a few articles detailing various computer ideas, which are available here. One of them has been reported in the news.
Computer vulnerability hunter (ethical hacker)
In 2007, I assisted in scanning for vulnerability in the University of Auckland computer network. Some of the discovered vulnerability included unrestricted execution of HTML tags on the student network (Cecil) and unrestricted access to staff's payslips via certain sectors of the network.
